Hydrogen & Derivatives

From production and processing to storage and delivery to customers and industrial-based applications, the company can offer hydrogen at every stage of the value chain. The company’s hydrogen capabilities show the innovative intensity and skill of the organisation in creating feasible, financially sustainable, broad hydrogen solutions. These capabilities are based on several decades of invention and numerous real-world initiatives.

The concepts and technologies for hydrogen refuelling that form the basis of advanced hydrogen infrastructures are developed and marketed by hydrogen solutions. Over 190 H2 petrol stations across the world have the technology installed. As a result, we are the market leader in offering quick, effective, and affordable hydrogen refueling options. Every H2 fueling station is built on its own compression technology.

Bioenergy & Biofuel

Cheranna Energy is investing in state-of-the-art technology that uses various oil-based materials, including discarded cooking oil and fats, food waste, and sewer grease, to create pure biodiesel. This technology creates clean biodiesel that satisfies EN14214 standards by synthesising the raw materials (used cooking oil and fats, food waste, sewer grease, etc.) using the transesterification process.

In compliance with EN590, biodiesels produced using this technique can be mixed with mineral diesel to create a blend that contains up to 7% biodiesel. This blend can then be used in various diesel engines without requiring engine modifications. For biodiesels produced and delivered from our plants, we are steadfastly dedicated to fulfilling the EN 14214 2008 and EN 590 2009 standards and quality control requirements.

Solar Energy

Cheranna Energy is making strategic investments in average-sized photovoltaic power plants and solar farms to provide electricity to our assets and the local community in which we operate. The grid wires are connected to the excess power produced by the photovoltaic power stations.

For our operation facilities situated in remote villages without access to a steady supply of electricity from the government-supplied national grid, the choice of photovoltaic power stations has shown to be a very practical and economical solution to generate an uninterrupted electricity supply.

Wind Energy

Cheranna Energy is searching for ways to make investments.
Cheranna Energy is presently assessing possible onshore and offshore wind farm investment prospects in Europe and Africa. It is an ongoing Project and this page will be updated regularly with development on this possible venture.

For this project, Cheranna Energy is amenable to working and collaborating with other investors. To discuss, please send an email to info@cherannaenergy.com if you are interested. Please provide your phone number and email address when contacting us, along with a brief description of the request, and our staff will get back to you right away.

Carbon Capture

At Cheranna Energy, we are devoted to pioneering creative solutions for a sustainable future. We acknowledge that carbon capture technology will be essential to reaching net-zero emissions as the need to address climate change becomes more pressing on a global scale. While creating and implementing state-of-the-art renewable energy sources continues to be our primary emphasis, we recognise that a comprehensive strategy is necessary to successfully decarbonise our planet.

Here, we think that a sustainable future requires a holistic and integrated strategy. A strong route to a low-carbon economy is provided by carbon capture in conjunction with the quick growth of renewable energy, energy efficiency initiatives, and sustainable land use practices.
We are dedicated to playing a significant role in this transition, leveraging our expertise and commitment to innovation to build a cleaner, greener world for generations to come.

Energy Optimization

One form of biofuel made from organic biomass, including sugar, wheat, maize, and cassava, is bioethanol.
It is a proven, non-toxic, and biodegradable substitute for fossil fuel that can be mixed and used in any gasoline-powered vehicle today without requiring any changes. It can be used as transportation fuel in place of traditional fossil fuels and accounts for more than 80% of the world’s biofuel production. Because the plants used to produce bioethanol absorb CO2 as they develop, using bioethanol can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It contributes to the growth of the national economy when it is made from sustainable agricultural crops.

Our approach is to cultivate these specialised agricultural products (feedstocks) in rural communities where there is an abundance of uncultivated farmlands and a significant decrease in farming and agricultural developments as a result of the mass migration of rural residents to urban areas in pursuit of white-collar jobs.

OUR TARGET

Cheranna Energy’s ultimate aim is to reduce global carbon levels and produce sustainable energy that can serve as a seamless substitute for fossil fuel energy.

Gas and Fuel Stations for Blended Biofuel

Cheranna Energy is currently evaluating strategic locations within Europe and Africa where blended Biofuels from our plants will be successfully sold to end users. Prior to establishing these strategic locations, we will continue to sell our Biofuel blends through existing Gas Stations from our partners.

Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging Points

Cheranna Energy is currently working with our UK partners to identify strategic locations within Europe for Electrical Vehicle Charging Points. This is part of our investment drive to make Renewable Energy available and accessible to end users.

R&D for Sustainability

Our R&D team are technically involved and collaborating with other Biotech research & development centres in Europe and Universities/Colleges to explore sustainability of renewable Energy through strategic investigation of potential feedstock from daily generated household wastes.

About Us

We are Building a Sustainable Future

With Cheranna Energy being so focused on the future of both sustainable energy and our planet, it is unsurprising that it is equally dedicated to its own future and that of the next generation. Its talent acquisition programmes embody this, running for university graduates and trainee engineers alike. These programmes are carried out in collaboration with a number of Scotland’s premier universities, and this is yet another example of a joint venture carried out by this company that is having a tremendous and far-reaching positive impact.
