Green Energy & Electric Mobility Infrastructure Project in Brazil

Executive Summary

Brazil is advancing rapidly in electric mobility, driven by the growing adoption of electric buses and vehicles. However, this progress is being significantly limited by inadequate charging infrastructure and constrained energy capacity, largely due to the instability of the national grid for battery charging.

However, this proposal outlines a strategic opportunity to integrate green energy generation with electric charging infrastructure at the Labofitto facility as a pilot concept. The model is designed to be scalable, with the potential to replicate similar installations at strategic locations across Brazil and other regions within Latin America (LATAM).

By implementing this approach, the Cheranna brand, through the Cheranna Energy Business Unit, would be positioned as:
✓ A major player in the future of sustainable mobility across Brazil and America regions (LATAM)
✓ A trusted provider of scalable electric mobility infrastructure solutions serving private & commercial sectors across regions

Brazil Electric Mobility – Market Reality & User Adoption

Recent data from São Paulo as a case study highlights major critical issues and gaps within the Electric Mobility Sector in Brazil:
❑ More than 75% electric buses are currently not operating due to insufficient energy supply or unavailability of charging infrastructures
❑ In certain regions, the charging infrastructure exists, but the grid cannot support fast charging at peak demand.
❑ At the same time:
✓ Even with these infrastructural shortcomings, consumer adoption of electric Mobility in Brazil is accelerating, underscoring a pressing and unresolved market opportunities
✓ Electric vehicle sales across Brazil are accelerating among corporate and private consumers, reflecting the rapid nationwide adoption of electric mobility.

Brazil Electric Mobility – Battery Charging Infrastructural Gaps

Brazil is emerging as a fast-growing electric vehicle market, enabled by major players such as BYD and its established local manufacturing base.

However, critical infrastructure limitations continue to persist:

  • Limited availability of charging points in urban and rural areas
  • Little to no dependable charging infrastructure along major highways
  • Frequent charging equipment failures/breakdowns and ongoing maintenance issues In extreme cases:
  • Vehicles are transported by tow trucks after complete battery depletion to charging centres, where they are recharged and returned to operation.
  • Mobile charging services are extremely limited, resulting in long waiting times due to high demand from vehicles with fully depleted batteries.

This leads to negative user experiences and significantly slows large-scale adoption.

particularly in rural and semi-urban locations in Brazil.

Brazil Electric Mobility – Proposed Solution & Deployment Strategy

Deployment of Scalable Charging Infrastructure at Strategic Locations (Pilot Case Study – Labofitto Factory Site, São Paulo):

✓ Develop a conceptual, scalable green-energy charging infrastructure, integrated with the Labofitto Factory – Sao Paulo

✓ Replicate this model across strategic locations within the region to serve both private and commercial end-users.

✓ Implement solar energy generation for these infrastructures, supported by BESS or hydrogen (H₂) backup systems to ensure energy stability and reliability on a 24/7 basis.

✓ Design and deploy ultra-high-capacity charging stations to significantly reduce electric vehicle (EV) charging times.

✓ Establish multiple charging points to enable simultaneous
multi-vehicle charging functions.

✓ Incorporate mobile electric charging units to provide on-demand assistance for vehicles with fully depleted batteries.

Brazil Electric Mobility – Proposed Solution (Pilot Case Study)

  • Land mass & physical area of approximately 12,943.30 m2
  • Large land space for proposed future expansion and scalability of the charging infrastructure
  • Existing Energy facilities that are adaptable for the Electric Mobility Charging Infrastructure
  • Strategic & centralized location of the factory within the region

Brazil Electric Mobility – Business Model For Proposed Solution

The revenue generation and income stream model for this concept comprises of:

  • Charging services contract (pay-per-use for individuals and Businesses)
  • Fleet charging contracts (long-term – for SME and large Businesses)
  • Partnerships with municipalities and government institutions (at regional & national levels)
  • Scale up for expansion through integration with fuel stations and highway networks. Huge cost savings in cost and time to deploy the charging infrastructure, with particular focus on major/busy highways

Brazil Electric Mobility – Scalability Concept

The charging infrastructure deployment model is designed to enable rapid scalability and ease of replication across the region, following a phased rollout approach:

  • Phase 1 – Conceptual Pilot Deployment:
    • Labofitto Factory Site, São Paulo
  • Phase 2 – Local Expansion:
    • Deployment across additional locations within São Paulo
  • Phase 3 – National Expansion
    • Rollout to strategic locations across Brazil
  • Phase 4 – Regional Expansion
    • Replication at strategic sites across other American regions (LATAM)
